A scum-of-the-earth, filthy rich bigot of a candidate has just been elected president of the United States. The face of white privilege, ignorance, homophobia, sexism, racism and prejudice is the face of the next figurehead of the free world. Proof that money is power, corruption is inevitable and playing people’s fears has a devastating effect on their moral compass. A man who has never paid taxes, who has sexually assaulted countless women, who thinks abortions are deserving of punishment, who wants to build a wall, who wants to ban a religion from entering the country and who made fun of people with disabilities and a man who admitted he’d fuck his own daughter if he wasn’t her father has just grabbed the reins of the most influential country of the developed world and steered it down the path of self-destruction. Prepare yourselves for this large orange man in a dollar shop toupee to destroy years of progression and work in the pursuit of equality. And so from me I’d like to offer huge fuck you to every American citizen who opposes/despises Trump but sat on their hands, consequently shooting themselves in the feet by choosing not to vote for his opposition. Not only is it a face palm for America itself, but a kick in the balls for the rest of the planet.
